ABOUT US
PH Productions was formed in November 2009 by Alex Parker and Catharine Humphrys, after their successful collaboration on COME ONE, COME ALL in September 2009, at The Electric Theatre, Guildford. Alex created extravagant orchestral arrangements of his favourite show-stoppers from the major Musicals of the last 25 years and formed a eighteen-piece orchestra of young musicians. Together with a valiant troupe of singers and dancers they performed solos, duets and rousing ensemble songs that delighted their audience.
In January 2010, the company put on RAISE YOUR VOICE, a concert of ensemble musical theatre songs at the Farnham Maltings with a cast made up of singers from Surrey. The twist on the event was that it was rehearsed in just forty-eight hours. A fourteen-piece orchestra accompanied the concert.
In July 2010, PH Productions put on a concert of RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN songs at the Electric Theatre. The concert brought together sixteen fantastic local singers as well as forty of England's best young musicians.
Since then, the company have started to produce full scale musicals as well as more concerts. See the 'Productions' page to see more information about the company's projects.
Currently PH Productions is a team of five, with Alex Parker at the helm as Artistic Director.
On 1.2.11 PH Productions registered as a not-for-profit Limited Company under the name PH Theatrical Productions (no. 7511044).
